If you love wildlife you’ll want to visit The Stillman Nature Center. It’s a private, not for profit educational center on 80 acres of land that was donated by Alexander Stillman. You’ll be able to enjoy natural grasses, critters, mammals, birds. The center has events and public programs, and school outings. It’s open daily all seasons but does not have an indoor visitors center. All outdoor here!
Shopping & Eating
The Arboretum is the newest location for shopping, it’s an upscale outdoors shopping mall on the doorstep of South Barrington residents. You’ll find many known brand name stores, cafes and restaurants. Daily grocery needs are plentiful either in Palatine, Barrington or Hoffman Estates. Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg is only 15 minutes away, one of our largest indoor shopping malls with big names like Macy’s, JC Penney and Sears.
