You’ll likely have found other advertising websites for horse property sales. Here’s why we are different to most of those.
- We are local Realtors selling horse property in Barrington Illinois.
- Our properties are exposed to thousands of local Realtors who may have horse property buyers.
- Our properties get exposure to buyers looking in our area and are not mixed with national listings.
- You’ll find market reports on your area to use when thinking of selling.
- We’ve got tips for sellers about pricing and preparation before selling.
- We have bona fide horse property buyers on our property mailing alert list.
- We are members of the MLS and get better exposure for your properties than any other online advertising space, both locally, nationally and even internationally.
What Makes A Top Equestrian Real Estate Agent?
Jump Forward To:
When considering any real estate agent for the job to be done, look for the specialist. Although the analogy might not be on the same professional level it’s always one people seem to understand. You go to your Doctor for the general ailments but when it’s a specific ailment you go to the specialist, right? Broken bones – Orthopedic Dr., Heart problems – Cardiac Surgeon, Having a Baby – Obstretics, and so on. So when buying or selling horse property, do you think it’s better to call up any real estate agent or find one that has:
- Marketing set up for equestrian properties
- Passion about selling horse farms and the countryside
- Understands all a horse property is offering and focuses on all aspects of the real estate
We’ve experienced the downside to sellers selecting the wrong agent time after time. Horse property buyers want to know about the parts of the real estate that relate to humans and to horses. Most real estate is marketed with very little if any attention to the barns, stables, paddocks, water supply, hay storage, proximity to trials and so on. Horse property buyers want all this information and more.
They cannot find it in most equestrian listings. I recently sold a horse property in Woodstock with relocating buyers from New York. Prior to visiting some 20 properties on 2 visits, we had to send hundreds of emails to potential candidates to find out what they had that related to horses. It was a time consuming an unnecessary exercise because the listing agents were not providing the data. Tell me please, how is that considered marketing a horse property?
Equestrian Real Estate Websites
If you want or need to find a Realtor that specializes in the horse property markets you can use the search engines to find one. Simple search for horse property “area” and browse through the web sites presented. Hopefully on page one of those results you will find a real estate agent that has a horse property web site. There’s little point in using any real estate agent whose web site, when you land on it, is just a general web site and has no information about equestrian real estate. That proves nothing other than they are a generalist.
If you look at the front page of our website you’ll see that everything we talk about references horse properties. Not waterfront, not golf courses, not every real estate listing, just horse properties. Above is the example of that. We hope you’ll see that here we are focused on equestrian real estate sales.
Our Proud Achievement
If someone else writes about you, isn’t that validation of your presence? I was interviewed in 2013 by the State of Illinois Realtor magazine for my work in serving horse property buyers and sellers in Illinois. Of course I live in Northern Illinois and serve clients mostly in the northwest and far northwest suburbs. While it’s nice to get calls for Oregon, IL, Princeton, IL and even Valparaiso Indiana, it’s simply impossible to cover a territory as large as the entire state, let alone beyond.
Please call me to find out if I can assist you. You may be in an area I will serve, or I may be able to share a listing with a local agent, which means your property benefits from our equestrian advertising and a local agent is responsible for the local responsibilities. I am always open to finding a solution to help you buy or sell horse property.
