Commercial real estate in Barrington and Northwest Suburbs is not something I dabble in very much but I do wonder at times at the lack of marketing effort being put forth. I know that if I was approached to list a property I would do a much more in depth effort of getting a property sold. I understand many of the properties are not for sale but for lease, it’s the nature of the commercial real estate beast but REALTORS that accept the challenge need to try.
Recently my husband, myself and eldest son were looking for a commercial space to rent. There’s plenty of choice available because commercial real estate has yet to rise like residential. Yet it seemed hard to find. Of course my first place to look was our MLS. Every real estate brokerage that is a member of the MLS has the ability to advertise their real estate listings on the MLS, exposing it to other REALTORS®. In residential real estate it’s the fastest way to find buyers and tenants. For Commercial real estate in Barrington and Northwest Suburbs it may not be the only way but not even bothering to add it makes me scratch my head. Why Not?? There are REALTOR’S with buyers looking through the listings and yours is not there.
Marketing Commercial real estate in Barrington and Northwest Suburbs
Much of commercial real estate in Barrington and Northwest Suburbs is found on Loopnet but again not all. In the end my husband found the space we ended up renting on Craigslist. That’s not a place I would have thought of and it was kind of the last resort, we had been looking for several months.
When it comes to my marketing residential real estate I use everything at my disposal. The MLS, signs, blogs, niche posting, social media, individual web sites and networking. My experience for my search into Commercial real estate in Barrington and Northwest Suburbs was that this type of marketing was lacking and that in the end hurts only one person, the client.
Marketing Commercial real estate in Barrington and Northwest Suburbs should use all the available methods available, it’s still a tough world in the commercial world of real estate and there are short sales in the market too, desperate to find buyers.
